About

This project is a research project as part of the master's program "Applied Computer Science" at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. It explains the basics of X-ray technology in a playful way. The game is suitable for beginners as well as for advanced users as an exercise for the daily work with X-ray images and is intended to convey the understanding of spatial effects on X-ray images. There are different levels of difficulty, two challenges and a story mode. In addition, the game has a sandbox mode where X-ray images can be freely tested and experimented with away from reality.

Features

Based on reality

xRayWorld uses realistic representations

Storyline

An exciting storyline brings you all the information you need

Tricky challenges

Test your X-ray skills in various levels of difficulty and challenges

Sandbox mode

Try out to better understand the principles in X-ray

Based on reality

In X-rays, it's the details that matter. A small difference in the density of objects can make a fundamental difference in reality. This makes it all the more important that these details are also imaged correctly.

Storyline

Accompanied by one of the most renowned scientists in the field of X-ray technology professor XRay, you will go through the some tasks as an employee of a large company, where you will learn X-ray bit by bit.

Tricky challenges

Practice makes perfect. Test your skills in different difficulty levels or in the time and level-based challenges to further refine your skills in using X-ray technology.

Sandbox mode

The sandbox mode environment is particularly suitable for beginners in the field of X-ray technology, as they can experiment here free of any constraints.
